Depending on carpet type and mineral content of the stain we can remove the urine stain while taking care of the odor issues.
We use pet safe cleaning products, so you won't have to worry about any harsh products being used during the entire process.
Urine Treatment is a multi step process to remove from the carpet.  When urine is deposited, it comes out very acidic, which can cause issues with the dye structure within the carpet fiber itself.  As time sets in, it starts to shift its PH and starts to form salt crystals.  These salt crystals can also cause permanent damage to the dye slots in the carpet.  We use a special product to first dissolve the urine salts, which traps the odor causing bacteria.  This bacteria can stay dormant in the carpet for years and be reactivated on humid days with the reintroduction of moisture.

Our next step is to apply a special enzyme product that will eliminate the odor causing bacteria and then using a truck mounted unit to fully flush the fibers.  Some odors may be in pad and subfloor which will require additional action to fully take care of the issue.

How can soak in

If you look at the picture, you can see how gravity will take the urine down to the subfloor area, especially with larger animals and repeat areas.  I always say its like an iceberg, only 20% or so in the fibers and the rest of the urine goes under the carpet.  In some cases, the pad needs to be replaced and subfloor sealed to correct the odor issue.
